I visited Elko Speedway a few years ago and saw three countable tracks in one night. Tonight I came back with daughter Kristy to see their "Eve of Destruction" event.

Monster trucks were part of the program. These guys can "Catch some air."

These are specator drag cars. Anyone in the stands can bring their car out for some one on one drags. Kristy's question was "You mean these guys just bring their car out of the parking lot and sign a waiver to race for very little consideration?" That sounds like an attorney talking doesn't it.

Kristy looks like she's having a good time.

This school bus is not likely to carry a bright-eyed, education starved youngster to school ever again.

I was given a few minutes to address the Elko Speedway crowd about "School bus rights." I told the assembled crowd that school buses have rights too and don't deserved to be crumpled in school bus figure 8 races.
