World's #1 Ranked Trackchaser

BAKERSFIELD RACEWAY PARK, LINTON, INDIANA

The main purpose of this weekend's trip is not trackchasing.  It's football.  These UCLA fans were part of a larger fan base that came in on our plane to Indianapolis from Los Angeles.

Before we could see any football, we had some trackchasing for Carol to do.  On the way, we noticed it's political season in Indiana.

The track sign didn't tell us what track we were visiting, but we were just happy to see a race in late October.

This was a small local track.  They race mini-stocks as their only full bodied racing class.

There were only about 40 racers on hand tonight.  The weather was cold, but there were clear skies.

The track is about 1/5 mile in length.  I first saw the track back in 2002.  This was Carol's first visit and her 286th lifetime track.

If you don't follow short track auto racing, you might be surprised to learn that this building houses the bathrooms.  Actually, on the inside they were very nice.
